My love of animals goes well beyond canines, but they are my favorite, especially my dogs Maxximus, Augustus & Ginger.  They are the subjects of many of my paintings, but I also like to do so many other animals - horses, cats, pigs and even humans, just to name a few domesticated ones.  Painting animals and bringing out their specific personalities gives me a lot of pleasure whether the commissioned work is for a gift, personal memento, or as a memorial to beloved pet.
